ZEBRA supports you in all this.

Background

The idea of ZEBRA first took root in Tanzania in 2015. While climing Mount Kilimanjaro (5895m) I had the profound experience of findig out just what my body and mind are capable of. This was followed by further moving months in the village of Rhotia in Tanzania. Tere I lived in close proximity with the erveryday experiences of the residents at the Rhotia Health Centre bush hospital and the nearby children’s home. Sometimes joy and sorrow lay side by side. I found myself confronted with moving stories and numerous challenging situations. I found great inspiration and strength in the animal and natural world of Tanzania. I realized that the Circle of Life exists not only in the animal kingdom, but that in all its aspects it accompanies us humans as well. Therefore, the zebras were the inspiration for the name ZEBRA.

Maisha Tanzania

Even after my stay there has ended, I remain attached to the wonderful country that is Tanzania. In 2021 Corina Cabalzar founded the Maisha Tanzania support association that campaigns for the Rhotia Health Centre. ZEBRA sends CHF 10 per coaching package to the Maisha Tanzania support association. Further information on the support association is available at https://www.maishatanzania.ch
